Listen, I'm from Chicagoland. My extended family lives in Opp. Chicagoland is arguably the BEST place in the US for Mexican food. Rancho Grande is right up there with Chicagoland Mexican restaurants. Their rice and beans are incredible. As is their taco salad, fajitas, chips and salsa...I could go on and on. They survived COVID in a very small town which is a testament to how amazing their food is. Every time my family comes to town, we go to Rancho Grande with our Opp family. It's kind of just understood. ¡Gracias para tus comidas sabrosas!
This was our third time eating here as we have family that lives here. Everything was good all 3 times, this was our first time eating in on a Sunday. Very reasonably priced and for a good amount of food. My husband and I are able to share full nachos and still be full. I've gotten something different every time and all of it has been good. The waitresses and waiters are amazing and quick even with a full lobby. No complaints!

Food was great and very reasonably priced. Chips and Salsa were immediately placed on my table. Ordered the lunch fajitas and it was a ton of food. I would definitely recommend stopping here for lunch if you are in town.
New to the area and staying in a hotel close to town. This was about the only place we found open on a Sunday evening, and we're glad it was. Service was great, the waiter was extremely busy with takeout and sit down orders, yet still made us feel well taken care of and never left us waiting. The food was so good, and left us wanting to return, especially on a day other than Sunday, when we can have margaritas!
Quaint restaurant in downtown Opp. Second time here and am still impressed with this little Cafe. Margherita is good...salsa is delightful ...food and service is superb. Like hearing the Spanish conversations from the kitchen accompanied by low level Mexican music playing.
We love Rancho. We usually order take out, and not once have we been missing anything or had an incorrect order. The service is always good when we do decide to go in to eat and love the cheese dip!
Don't believe any negative review about this resturant!!! Whoever wrote them doesn't have good taste. The food is EXCELLENT...and I travel the Southeast eating at a lot of Mexican places. Lots of Spanish in the air from the kitchen area makes you feel that you are truly "south of the border". This must be a family owned r esturant because I felt like I was a guest a someone's casa. Eat here!
